The choice of a knitting needle largely determines the pleasure you experience with your knitting project. Due to the large number of types of knitting needles, it is difficult to choose the right one. Below we have listed the different types of knitting needles and their properties. 	Description	A user-friendly stainless steel circular needle for many knitting projects.
	Cable	The circular needles are available in lengths from 16" cm to 60"
	Needles	The needles are available in thicknesses from US 3-0 mm to US 19. They are evenly tapered needles with a slightly more pointed tip which makes insertion easier.
	Application	For knitting patterns that require multiple stitches, such as lace patterns, studs, mussels and cables. The larger lengths are ideal for blankets and shawls.

	Needles	The needles are available in thicknesses from US 0 up to US 11. They are uniformly tapered needles and have slightly more rounded tips. From a cable length of 12", the needles are provided with a bend.
	Application	For knitting patterns where there are a small number of stitches on the needle, the 9" needle is suitable. Think of socks, wrist warmers, hats, sleeves or baby clothes. Needles with cables of 12" or more are more pleasant for projects with a lot of stitches on the needle and therefore the bend in the needle.

	Application	These needles are mainly used for knitting socks.
