When working with hand-dyed yarns, there are a few things to keep in mind:
Alternate skeins:
For a larger project, where you use multiple skeins of the same colour, it is good to alternate strands. So after each round you switch skeins, to prevent colour difference. No two hand-dyed skeins are the same.
Washing instructions:
Preferably wash your hand-knitted item by hand, in lukewarm water. You can use a non-rinse wool detergent, such as Eucalan, Soak or Wooly wash.
Wash separately:
The yarn is thoroughly rinsed after dyeing, but there is always a risk that it will still show some colour. That's why you should wash your projects separately.
Colours:
The photos of the yarns have been taken with great care. However, it can happen that a colour is not what you expect. A colour may appear differently on a another screen. If it really isn't what you hoped for, you can return the yarn unused and in good condition.
